Video Producer

Location: Dallas (Carrollton), TX

Reports To: Vice President of Production

Invodo is looking for extraordinarily talented individuals to join our Video Production Team in a Unit Producer role. This is a contract position with an option to hire. Invodo works with some of the biggest retailers and brands in eCommerce to create short product videos that boost online sales and is looking for A+ Video Producers to manage production projects from beginning to end.

To be successful, you’ll need a deep understanding of video production, impeccable organization and communication skills and a business first mentality. Producers are responsible for the successful completion of the entire production.

Required skills:
To be considered, you must be able to

  • Demonstrate your specific experience leading the successful completion of complex video production projects
  • Interact with Clients, including senior level executives, in a positive manner to ensure that the proper expectations are set and met
  • Schedule all aspects of the production with the client and Internal resources
  • Identify key product talking points with client
  • Distill the project requirements into clear and concise production briefs for (1) the overall production, (2) casting, (3) creative and (4) scripting
  • Coordinate with Central Casting and Scripting to obtain talent and scripts; create production schedules for studio, crew, and editor
  • Direct the production on-set
  • Ensure that all deadlines and video quality standards are met or exceeded
  • Successfully interact and communicate with the Senior Production Manager providing detailed briefs, budgets and schedules
  • Must have an open mind and be able to handle objective critiques and must demonstrate the ability and willingness to resolve those critiques in a positive manner
  • Must be able and willing to work in any capacity (DP, PA etc.) to achieve the highest quality for the client

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • 6+ Years as a Video Producer in a commercial environment
  • Experience shooting, lighting, editing and writing
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proactive with a “whatever it takes” attitude
  • Extremely strong work ethic
  • Available for travel in the US and Canada
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver products on-time and on-budget while providing a great customer experience

In addition, the candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and as a team member. The candidate must also have the ability to multitask, manage competing project deadlines and have a meticulous attention to detail.
