Market Development Associate (Inside Sales)

Position Summary
Invodo is looking for extraordinarily talented individuals to join our sales team in an important sales role. We believe passion sells and are looking for people excited about the unique opportunity in ecommerce video to join our inside sales team. Our Market Developers are the tip of the spear as we grow our business.
Invodo is still an early-stage startup so as a Market Development Associate you’ll play an incredibly important role in the growth of our company—your efforts will directly determine whether we meet the right prospective customers at the right companies, which is critical to our growth. To be successful you’ll need to be passionate about our business, thrive in a flexible environment, and be very self-driven. This doesn’t mean we won’t be helping you—we will—but we believe in hiring people with passion, confidence and intelligence who are not afraid of high expectations.
Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role you must be able to:
1. Demonstrate the value propositions of our products and services through email and phone conversations
2. Prospect for new opportunities and identify the right contacts through Jigsaw, LinkedIn, Google searches, etc.
3. Manage hundreds of leads in Salesforce and ensure high priority prospects are always on your communication list
4. Qualify each lead before scheduling a meeting for the Sales Director.
5. Be comfortable positioning a high-value service of $100,000+
You also have to be the type of person that craves a challenge and is unafraid to constantly push yourself outside your zone of comfort. A startup is not for the meek, but you will learn as much working here in three months as you would most companies in a year. The opportunity to grow your skills and advance your career can’t be matched by larger companies.
Requirements for the Market Development Associate role include the following:
• BA/BS or equivalent education
• 2 years work experience minimum, preferably within the Internet/e-commerce industry or a high-tech start-up
• 1 year experience in business development, sales or customer service as a top-10% performer—we’re only looking for the best
• Excellent communications skills
• A will to win. Must be driven to achieve personal and team goals.
• Passion for working with customers and partners
• Knowledge of online marketing techniques, ecommerce trends, etc.
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Desire to constantly learn and process new information about our industry, solution, partners, and competitors
• Extremely proactive with a strong bias for action.
• A strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment.
• Proficient with Salesforce and MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
