Invodo’s Board of Directors is composed of experienced industry leaders who provide overall direction and guidance.

Craig Wax

Chief Executive Officer | Invodo

Craig leads Invodo’s overall market strategy, product vision and investor relationships. He brings a seasoned general management perspective to guide the company’s rapid growth.

Craig was most recently the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Match.com, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business including building strategic partnerships, marketing, and product innovation. Prior to Match.com Craig held multiple senior roles at Yahoo!, including launching the business in Australia and New Zealand as managing director. Craig joined Yahoo! from Overture Services (formerly GoTo.com) which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2003. Craig led Overture’s marketing and communication teams and expanded the business across Europe and Asia. During his time in marketing and new ventures at General Mills, Craig helped the company enter the organic space with the acquisition of Small Planet Foods. Craig also worked in sales at Procter & Gamble and began his career at Exxon Company U.S.A. in financial operations and analysis.

Craig is a frequent speaker at industry events such as the National Retail Federation’s Big Show, the Shop.org Summit and Innovation Workshop, and eTail. He is also a regular contributor to Digiday and other industry publications.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors and a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the University of Texas at Austin. He also serves on the board of directors of the Texas Lacrosse Alumni Association. He resides in Dallas with his wife and two children.

Jackie Kimzey

General Partner | Sevin Rosen

Jackie Kimzey joined Sevin Rosen Funds in 1999 after nearly 20 years as an executive at wireless carrier and service provider companies.

He brings a keen understanding of what it takes for a promising venture to evolve into a successful business and company. He has held management positions at the semiconductor manufacturer Mostek and was also co-founder and CEO of wireless provider ProNet. He helped develop proprietary products, generated “turn-around” strategies, recruited top executives, and played both key roles in mergers and acquisitions.

Jackie has admired SRF since his days at Mostek, which was founded by L.J. Sevin, also a founder of SRF. The strengths and values that appealed to him then remain strong at SRF. “One of firm’s greatest assets has been our approach: we don’t just make investments, we build businesses,” he comments.

Brian R. Smith

Managing Director | S3 Ventures

Brian serves as a managing director of S3 Ventures. He leads the team’s efforts in technology, infrastructure and software.

At 35, he co-founded the Convergent Investors Fund, a $70M early-stage venture capital firm in Texas. Brian served as managing director of Convergent Investors, where he oversaw investments in 10 companies. At age 29, he founded and served as chairman and CEO of Crossroads Systems (Nasdaq: CRDS). He led Crossroads through five rounds of venture, strategic and mezzanine financing and to a successful IPO in 1999. Brian ran Crossroads as a public company for nearly four years. In this role, Brian was an early pioneer in Storage Area Networks (“SANs”), which are industry standard solutions today. For his efforts, he was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2000. He spent the first seven years of his career in electrical engineering positions holding product development roles within the Technology Group of the IBM Corporation.

Brian earned a BSEE with honors from the University of Cincinnati and an MSEE from Purdue University. He served on the board of Conformative Systems (acquired by Intel), Chicory Systems (acquired by CEVA) and Crossroads Systems (Nasdaq: CRDS). He currently serves on the boards of Callvine, Digby, Invodo, LibreDigital, OrthoAccel, Sipera, StoredIQ, and Tango Health.
