Craig leads Invodo’s overall market strategy by bringing a seasoned general management perspective to guide the company’s rapid growth. Craig was most recently the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Match.com, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business including building strategic partnerships, marketing, and product innovation. Prior to Match.com, Craig held multiple senior roles at Yahoo!, including launching the business in Australia and New Zealand as managing director. Craig has also served as head of marketing and communications at Overture Services (formerly GoTo.com), in marketing and new ventures at General Mills, at Procter & Gamble, and at Exxon Company U.S.A. He also serves on the Board of Governors for the College of Merchandising at the University of North Texas and the board of directors of the UT Lacrosse Alumni Association. Craig holds a BBA with honors and a MBA with distinction from the University of Texas at Austin.

Trey SwainTrey Swain

PRESIDENT & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
 

Trey’s 24 years of experience in finance, mergers & acquisitions, and operations provides both operational and financial leadership for Invodo. As founding CFO and eventually CEO for Delinea, Trey led three strategic acquisitions and seed/A funding rounds while growing the technology services company to over $20MM in revenue. As Vice President of ProNet, Trey acquired 22 companies over two and a half years while growing the employee base from 75 to 2,800. Also, as a former CPA with Ernst & Young, Trey’s finance expertise has significantly contributed to Invodo’s financial modeling and fiscal operations. Trey holds a BBA in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.

Gard focuses on finding new avenues for business growth through strategic partnerships and new sales channels. As one of the original founders of Invodo, Gard brings over 14 years of entrepreneurial experience to the company. Previously, Gard founded and operated Smarthockey Inc., where he established the initial manufacturing and distribution relationships as well as the management team. Gard earned a BA in English from Cornell University.

Cliff DorseyCliff Dorsey

VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

 

Cliff leads Invodo’s sales team, which is responsible for driving Invodo’s growth through expanding the client base and revenue while also growing relationships with existing clients. Prior to joining Invodo, Cliff was Senior Vice President of Global Enterprise Sales at LivePerson, a SaaS-based provider of real-time online customer engagement solutions. There, he was instrumental in the consistent revenue growth of the company as it grew from $17m to over $160m during his eight year tenure, driven by go-to-market sales strategies, pay for performance programs, value-based sales methodologies, and verticalized alignment. Prior to LivePerson, Cliff held multiple sales leadership roles at Internet Security Systems and Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC). Cliff served on active duty as an Army Officer for four years and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Jim KeelerJames D. Keeler, Ph.D

VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING AND OPERATIONS

 

Dr. James D. Keeler leads Invodo’s technology team in product vision, research and development. Prior to Invodo, Jim spent ten years at AT&T Wi-Fi Services, previously Wayport, Inc. He organized and executed major capital expansions, growing Wayport to be the largest Wi-Fi services provider in the U.S. Jim was also responsible for all technology group activities including engineering, research, information technology and design, architecture, and product management. Prior to AT&T Wi-Fi Services, Jim was a co-founder of Pavilion Technologies, Inc., a spinout of MCC. As the main inventor of Pavilion’s technology, he was responsible for leading the vision, direction and technical staff of Pavilion and held titles including CTO, VP Engineering and VP of R&D. In addition, he is a published author and is the primary author of 33 US patents. Jim holds a Post Doctoral Fellowship from Stanford University; M.S. and Ph. D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of California, San Diego; and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of California, Davis.

Russ SomersRuss Somers

VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING

 

Russ leads Invodo’s marketing team, managing product marketing and lead generation as well as driving the company’s marketing communications, social media and PR initiatives. Before coming to Invodo, Russ helped develop SolarWinds’ product marketing function prior to their IPO. At Hoover’s Russ led product and subscription marketing. He doubled the rate of new customer acquisition with targeted product offerings and integrated Hoover’s early entry into social media into the company’s PR and marketing communications strategy. Earlier roles include brand management, pricing and analytics roles at Dell and Sabre Holdings. Russ holds a MBA from the McCombs School of Business and a BA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Tom NiemeyerTom Niemeyer

VICE PRESIDENT OF CONTENT AND CREATIVE 

 

Tom leads Invodo’s Creative team, overseeing all aspects of the company’s creative service offerings including video production, visual communications and product UI/UX. Prior to Invodo, Tom founded Pixis Media, which specialized in rich media content and interactive marketing for NCAA division one athletic programs and countless small/medium businesses. At advertising agencies LCR Group (now Level Two) and Blockdot, Tom helped agencies initiate interactive design departments. He started his career at Sony Music, implementing some the first interactive marketing strategies for Top 40 artists. Tom has one of the very first accredited degrees in Multimedia Design from the Art Institute of Dallas.

 

Eric EngineerEric Engineer

VICE PRESIDENT OF STRATEGY AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

 

Eric leads Invodo’s Business Development team, which is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities while managing alliances, technology integrations, and channel relationships with strategic partners. Prior to Invodo, Eric was a Partner at Sevin Rosen Funds, where he focused on early-stage investments in software/services companies and helped lead the firm’s initial investment in Invodo. Prior to Sevin Rosen, Eric worked at Microsoft, where he held a variety of roles in product management, product planning, program management, and sales across business units. Eric began his career at Trilogy Software as a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant. Eric recently served as the Dallas Chapter President of TeXchange, and has also served on the board of TiE-Dallas. Eric has an MBA from Harvard Business School an MCS in Distributed Systems from Rice University, and a BA, cum laude, in Computer Science and Managerial Studies from Rice University.

Richard E. Last lectures at the University of North Texas where he leads the Digital Retail degree program. Mr. Last has over 20 years of experience in Digital Retailing. Under Mr. Last’s leadership, JCPenney began selling via the Web in October 1994, the first Department Store online, and by 2005, the first $1Billion Apparel and Home Furnishings website. Prior to jcp.com, Mr. Last led various electronic retailing efforts for JCPenney. He also led JCPenney’s international expansion of its catalog business in the UK, Japan, Mexico, and Chile. Mr. Last serves on the Board of Directors of Shop.org, and was Chairman from 2007-2011. He is on the Editorial Board of ROI Magazine (Retail Online Integration), and also served on the Board of Directors of the National Retail Federation Foundation.

Steven Dennis is a trusted advisor, speaker and blogger on customer-centricity and omni-channel growth and marketing strategy. As President of SageBerry Consulting, he applies his C-level executive experience to drive innovation and growth for retail, luxury and fashion industry clients. Steven served as Senior Vice President of Strategy, Business Development and Marketing for the Neiman Marcus Group. Steven is also an executive-in-residence at the JC Penney Center for Retail Excellence at SMU’s Cox School of Business, President of the DFW Retail Executives Association, and a Partner in Dallas Social Venture Partners.

Jeff is a founding member of the Hilco Consumer Capital team and has more than 30 years of deal-making, business operations and strategic planning experience.  During his career, Jeff has completed more than $20 billion of merger, acquisition, private equity and venture capital transactions within the retailing, apparel, branded consumer products and internet commerce industries. He has acted both as a principal and as an investment banker. Prior to joining Hilco, Jeff served as President and founder of Interactive Technology Partners (“ITP”), a private equity and venture capital joint venture of Comcast Corporation, and as Senior Vice President Corporate Development of Foot Locker, Inc.

 Scott has over 14 years of product leadership and application creation experience working in a variety of global software companies. Scott is currently the Vice President of Products for Trilogy’s Telecom division. Scott led product direction in various capacities at PromoLabs, MessageOne (acquired by Dell), Coremetrics (acquired by IBM) and Reactivity (acquired by Cisco).

Dr. Fredrickson has extensive consulting and executive education experience on the topics of strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and executive leadership. He is Chairman of the Management Department and the Tom E. Nelson, Jr. Regents Professor of Business at the McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin where he also serves as the School’s first Director of Teaching Development. In addition, Dr. Fredrickson is known for his research on strategic decision-making, organizational structure, and executive compensation and leadership.

Jenifer Renzenbrink Smith is an associate in the Austin office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she practices corporate and securities law. Jenifer’s practice focuses on the representation of technology and emerging growth companies, venture capital firms, and investment banks in a variety of corporate and securities law matters, including entity formation, private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and SEC compliance.

Paul Tobias is the founding partner of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati’s Austin office, where his practice focuses on helping technology and growth companies form and operate businesses, raise capital through venture capital, growth equity, private equity and public offerings, and buy and sell companies. In addition to his work with growth companies, Paul has represented investors in many venture capital financings. He also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, representing acquirers and targets. His experience also includes numerous public offerings on behalf of issuers and underwriters.

Johannes Larcher is an entrepreneur and company builder whose career has spanned a wide spectrum of industries, company sizes, business models, and geographies. He was part of the team that invented paid search at GoTo.com (later: Overture Services, now: Yahoo! Search), where he grew the international business  from business plan to more than $300 million in ad sales; served as CEO of Academy123, an online education company acquired by Discovery Communications; and co-founded a social gaming company called Pikum!. Most recently, Johannes served as SVP, International at Hulu. As the key executive in charge of all activities outside the U.S., he launched and ran Hulu’s subscription service in Japan and led business and corporate development initiatives with broadcasters, production companies, device partners, and telcos in markets across the globe. Additional career experience includes time in management consulting (McKinsey & Co.) and executive search (Korn Ferry Futurestep).

Jackie Kimzey is a General Partner at Sevin Rosen Funds. He brings a keen understanding of what it takes for a promising venture to evolve into a successful business and company. He has held management positions at the semiconductor manufacturer Mostek and was also co-founder and CEO of wireless provider ProNet. He helped develop proprietary products, generated “turn-around” strategies, recruited top executives, and played both key roles in mergers and acquisitions.

Brian serves as the managing director of S3 Ventures, an earlier stage venture capital firm with $170M under management. Brian oversees all of S3′s investments. S3 invests primarily in Texas and the southwest. Brian co-founded the Convergent Investors Fund prior to S3, a $70M early-stage venture capital firm in Texas where he oversaw investments in 10 companies. At age 29, he founded and served as chairman and CEO of Crossroads Systems (Nasdaq: CRDS). He led Crossroads through five rounds of venture, strategic and mezzanine financing and to a successful IPO in 1999. Brian ran Crossroads as a public company for nearly four years. In this role, Brian was an early pioneer in Storage Area Networks (“SANs”), which are industry standard solutions today. For his efforts, he was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2000. He spent the first seven years of his career in electrical engineering positions holding product development roles within the Technology Group of the IBM Corporation.
