Yamaha Absolute Drum Series: Hi, my name’s Dave; I’m a marketing manager for Yamaha Drums. One of our key series of drums is the Absolute series, and one of the best features of this drum set, a new one, is called a hook lug. And basically, what this does is allow you to change a head in a matter of about a minute. This lug just comes off; I can do that all around. If I need to do a quick change of a head, I can do it in a matter of a minute or two. The other thing that’s great about this lug is that it does not touch the drum. So it lets the drum be more the drum; it lets the drum sustain and be more of a musical instrument. This series is available in a maple and a birch shell. So, my name’s Dave.
