Wupzey Media Coverage: Well, as any parent knows, mealtime for babies and toddlers learning to feed themselves can be very messy. Well now one Mom says she’s found a solution and news aide Kathleen Bade is here now with her food catching product in this Consumer Alert. Well, it is called the Wupzey, a product that claims to make mealtime a lot less messy for parents who have babies who eat in high chairs. It was created by a Southern California mom and locals moms say it’s keeping their kitchen floors a whole lot cleaner. This is Juliana. She was my inspiration for the product. Johanna Romaniuk’s 20 month old daughter Juliana can feed herself these days without making a mess but Romaniuk says that mealtime when her daughter was in her highchair wasn’t always this clean. When Juliana started eating by herself, it was like five and a half months, she would just drop everything down the front of her. She would try and get it in her mouth and it would all just fall down the front. Romaniuk says she got tired of cleaning up food on the floor. So her solution? A baby food catcher for highchairs she calls Wupzey. I just need something that is small and compact and just waterproof and just attaches to the highchair. Velcro strips are used to attach the machine washable product. Toss everything in here, detach it and then all the food just kind of catches right in there. San Diego Mom Xochill Marquez says before she bought Wupzey, mealtime for her ten month old daughter Jessie meant food was spilled on the floor and required some big time cleanup. For me, it was like I have to pick it up, then I’d have to wipe it up with a wet towel. This is just awesome. It catches everything. You take it off, dump it in the sink and that’s it. And Marquez says that the fact that the product was created by another Mom makes it that much better. She know firsthand how it is and how we need things to be easier on us. Making mealtime easier is exactly what Romaniuk says she hopes the product does for moms everywhere. It’s just a very helpful, useful, practical product that solves a problem and will really help you save time and energy and especially when you’re not sleeping through the night and you’re exhausted. The last thing you want to do is clean up the floor. Romaniuk says the Wupzey is sold at some retail stores for about twenty dollars and also online.
