Tecnica Flex Rating

Tecnica Flex Rating: Within the Tecnica boot line, each boot has a specific flex rating. The flex rating determines the stiffness of the boot: how much force it actually takes the boot to flex forward. Typically, the stiffer the boot, the stiffer the flex rating. It’s going to be very precise reacting. Any movement you make is going to be transmitted into the snow. Whereas a softer boot is going to be a little bit more forgiving, it’s going to feel a little bit more comfortable because it allows you to feather, feel, and touch a little bit more and not be so exacting.

Tecnica Triple Position Cuff Catches

Tecnica Triple Position Cuff Catches: All Tecnica boots feature Triple Position Cuff Catches. Allows the cuff catch to be adjusted to three different positions, allows for greater customization for different leg shapes, and customization for the individual. So here are the three positions. The boot comes mounted in the middle position, and all you do is you unscrew it, move the nut to either the rear position to make the cuff tighter, or to the forward position to allow greater circumference of the cuff.
