Taye Studio Birch Line Natural to Black Burst: Hey everybody, my name is West Reeler. I'm the sales and marketing coordinator with Taye Drums. Welcome to our booth. Let me show you about our brand new line. The studio birch. This color is actually the natural to black burst fade. Now this is the first time in four years that Taye's introduced a new line. We have these beautiful badges that give it a very classical look. Screwed on badges, not your stick on kind. We offer many different sizes of the bass drum from the 24 down to a 18. The 24 we have two different size, two different depth. We got 24 by 16, 24 by 18 and now the 22's for the first time, we're stocking 22 by 20, 22 by 18 and 22 by 16. But you've got to make sure you call your dealer so they can call us to make sure we have it. These are seven ply, 100% premium birch shells, and that's all the way through the line. Most other shells will have 8 through 14, 6 ply. 16 through whatever, and then 9 ply and then different size bass drum. So these are great, because they're all one size all the way through. Even though they all have the same number of plies, you're still going to get plenty of attack, plenty of warmth. And because of the Taye drums EFS, engineering for sound technology, you're still going to get the best tunage possible. So for the first time, Taye drums is offering natural and black lacquer hoops on the snare drums. These are 14 plies sugar maple hoops on 41 ply snares.
