Svan High Chair: Hi, I’m Erin Lane with Scandinavian Child. We’re the North American distributor for Svan of Sweden, a fabulous brand from Sweden that makes exceptional designs for everyday life. This is the flagship product. This is the Svan High Chair. It’s a fully adjustable high chair that goes from six months all the way up to a four year or five year old chair to a full size adult chair. Starts out as a high chair. Comes with a tray, which includes a plastic tray cover that is BPA and falite free. The tray cover snaps off and can go directly in the dishwasher, so you never have to worry about hard cleaning. One of the consumer’s favourite features about this product is the fact that the tray comes off and it allows the child to sit up to the family table. So the baby is allowed to eat lunch or dinner with the rest of the family instead of being off to the side. What do you do with the tray? You simply store it on the back and it attaches very nicely and the child scoots right up to the table. Once you finish with the tray and the child’s a little bit older, they’re continued to be protected by the guard. It has a simple adjustment underneath that adjusts the seat depth. No other high chair on the market has an adjustable seat depth. This chair grows, again from six months, all the way up to a full size adult chair. The other part that is adjustable in this high chair is the foot rest. You’ll simply see the grooves here and you simply adjust the Allen bolts to move up and down the groove as your child has growth spurts or wants to have it in a different position. The youth chair will be used once the child is comfortable getting in and out of the chair by themselves. You simply remove the guard and the crotch bar and start using it as a youth chair. When you’re done as a youth chair – a lot of people say, “Well, what do I do with this now?” You simply take off the seat base, you move the foot rest up and then you have your adult chair that can hold up to 250 pounds. The Svan Chair is JPMA and ASTM certified.
