About Studiologic VMK 188 Plus Midi Controller: How you doing? My name is Jeremy Mage. I'm with Studiologic MIDI controllers. This is our VMK-188 Plus. It's a full featured controller keyboard, powered by USB, or by external power. And it has nine sliders, eight buttons, and eight knobs. And what I was just demonstrating there was the transport control. Just an example of how much it saves your time, and helps you ergonomically, if you're down here. You don't have to go reaching for things to undo and record, and everything like that, which, as a keyboard player, is great. Because, instead of breaking my creative flow, and to reach for a mouse, you know, I can just record down here. You know, and if I don't like it, I can just hit undo, et cetera. So that's basically what you'd expect from a MIDI controller. What you might not expect is a really professional, inspiring instrument. There's lots of MIDI controllers out there. Lots of them are really sophisticated. This one is great for the control features, but what it really excels at is being the best action that you can find. Studiologic controllers are not just controllers. They're really instruments, and people that are proficient at playing keyboard instruments need to have something that doesn't feel like a toy, and doesn't feel like plastic. It really responds to what they're putting into it, and that's really what this is all about. Manufactured entirely in Italy, and it really shows there's a lot of love put in.
