Sony X Series Walkman Video Player – About: Hi, I’m Josh Arigone, the national product trainer for PA and mobile electronics. We’re here today to talk about the exciting new X series Walkman video player. The great thing right off the top is it’s got a three-inch OLED screen. Not only is it an OLED screen, it’s a touch panel as well, and that gives you hybrid operation. You’re able to touch this screen, maneuver around your different movies, videos, and pictures, and also use the sides of it as well. Here you have button controls on either side and on top. We’ve also integrated our digital-S amplifier, so it really gives you that kick that you need for not only your audio, but also your video when you’re watching your movies. We’ve got an FM transistor built in. We’ve used our digital noise canceling technology. We also have built-in wifi, and this is really cool because when you’re done listening to a song or you go through your artist list, you can click on the name of an artist, and it’ll link you to YouTube to watch one of their videos. We also have a great scroll feature on here, so when you’re into a movie, say you’re watching “Rocky” for example, and you want to see the scene where Rocky knocks out the big Russian, you’re able to go through in increments of 30 seconds, one minute, two minutes, three minutes, and it’ll scroll through. Much like a cover flow, this will do a seam flow to get you through to that scene where you want to be. This will be out, available in summertime, and it’ll be in 16 and 32 gigabyte capacities.
