Sony Wearable Walkman - About

Sony Wearable Walkman – About: How are you doing? I’m Josh Arigone, national product trainer for personal audio and mobile electronics. I’m here today to talk about our W series or our wearable Walkman. This is really great. In the small little package, you have two gigabytes of internal memory. You have a jog dial right here. What this jog dial does is since you don’t have a heads up display, it allows you to maneuver and navigate through your audio. It does fast forward, pause, play, power on and off, but the really cool thing with this is it has our Zap In technology, which allows you to get into the meat and potatoes of the song in increments of three seconds. So if I want to hear a song that I heard on the radio, went out, got the CD, loaded it onto here, if I’m not exactly sure of the track listing, I can turn on Zap, and through this jog dial scroll through the songs and not have to listen to each individual one. Go fast forward, hear the song I want, I press the button one more time, and it starts me off from the beginning, so it’s a really great, intuitive way to navigate through the songs that I have on here. It charges on a dock like this with a mini USB. You have a shuffle feature, so if you want to mix it up a little bit, you’re at the gym, walking around, doing what you need to do, you can shuffle it up so you don’t have that same constant mix. You have your volume right here, 13.5 mm drivers built in so it’s giving you that incredible Sony sound in this small package. Very easy to put on, and it stays on no matter what. I can sit here and do jumping jacks, I can bang my head like I usually do at the office, and it’s not going to go anywhere. It’s comfortable; I can have it on all day long at the office and not have any soreness on my ears.
