About Sony Professional Audio: Hi, my name is Paul Foschino. I’m with Sony Professional Audio. Sony Pro audio has been around the industry for a very, very long time. We’re part of the business and professional side of the Sony Corporation. Now you might be familiar with Sony from all of its products from TV sets, on to some of the great consumer products that you may have in your home. But on the professional side, Pro Audio has been manufacturing equipment that has helped to make some of the great music that you listen to. We’re known in the recording studios for having everything from recording consoles to multi track recorders. But today in Pro Audio, Sony professional audio products focus on a lot of broadcast equipment, a lot of wireless microphones, wired microphones for studios, headphones that a lot of musicians are using in recording studios today, and digital field recorders. These products have become known as high quality, high performance pieces that are being used in every application you can imagine in the professional world. From newsgathering, from radio reporters, right on to musicians recording gigs and practices.
