Sanus Systems Low Profile Mount: Today I’d like to talk to you about our new Low Profile Mount for large TV’s 30-60”. This mount can hold up to 175 pounds as well. We’ve done a couple of new innovative things with this wall mount. We have made the wall plate out of aluminum. That makes it a lot lighter and a lot stronger at the same time. It makes it easier for one person to install while having to hold a lighter wall plate on the wall while you’re trying to find your stud locations, etc. etc. The other nice thing that we’ve done on the Low Profile Mount is we have heard from some installers and some customers that it’s kind of hard to do some wire management when you’re installing your TV. So what we’ve done is we’ve created these pull tabs that allow us to pull down and these two feet come out and they prop the TV away from the wall. So you have quite a bit more room underneath here to get your hand up there and to attach all your wires for your blu-ray player or any other device that you’re attaching. When you’re done with that, you simply lift these guys up and the mount rotates down and you can just lock it to the wall and you’re done. You don’t have to slide anything else through there. The TV is already secured to the wall plate and you’re ready to go. Once you’re watching your TV, if you notice that your TV doesn’t quite look level to your room, if you notice that it doesn’t quite look right, you can easily adjust for that just by loosening or tightening the bolt here at the top of the bracket and you can see that this left side is getting lower now. You can make this adjustment while the TV is up and already installed. You don’t have to take it back down and redo anything. That adjustment is available on both sides of the mount so if you do one side at a time, it will level adjust and if you do two, it will height adjust. So if you’re trying to line something up on the wall with your TV and you miss by ¼”, you can take advantage of this new Pro-Set feature and that will allow you to correct for that.
