About Spot Personal Satellite Messenger: Hi my name is Derek Moore, and I'm here in Ogden, Utah at the outdoor retailer summer market show. We've all been places, we all enjoy spending time in the outdoors, especially away from cell phone service, whether it's backpacking, back country skiing, ocean kayaking, or just traveling in remote areas. And it all happens, we have loved ones back home that worry about us, and want to know how we're doing, and worse things happen at times when you can't expect it. And now there's a simple solution, it's called Spot. Spot's the world's first satellite messenger. What Spot does is take your GPS coordinates and sends it to family and friends, real time, so they can view your coordinates and and your location online at findmespot.com and they can also receive text and email on their cell phones and over the internet. And there's four basic functions. You can communicate with family and friends by pressing the okay button, letting them know exactly where you are and that you're okay. You can communicate if you need assistance by pressing the help button, to a list of contacts, agin that's email and cell phones. And then of course if you're in a real serious situation and you need emergency assistance, we have a 911 button that communicates to an emergency response center, they're internationally based, and they know your exact GPS coordinates updated every five minutes and they'll send help to search and rescue you, to get you wherever you are. Spot's fourth function, and this is something that's actually really fun, it enables you to update your GPS tracking automatically every ten minutes, for a lifespan of 24 hours at a time, and you can send an instant weblink to a group of family and friends or associates, post it on your blog, or just make it live and send it out to others in the form of an email. And that way they click on that and they get satellite imagery on google maps of exactly where you've been. It's called sharing your adventure, and nowadays with social networks and everything else that's going on and all the amazing places we hang out and play, and enjoy beautiful places and activities, in places like Ogden, you can share that adventure with friends back at home and make them jealous, they love it. So, Spot's available at any outdoor retailer nationwide. Spot has transmitted an unprecedented 2.5 million messages in the past 7 months and we were just introduced in the market back in November 2007
