Rossignol SAS2-200 Binding: Hi, I'm Kurt with Rossignol, here to tell you about our Alpine bindings. This is the SAS2 200. This is for our big mountain athletes, and our jib skiers. It has one of the largest ranges on the marketplace. It goes from a Din of 10 to 18. One unique feature about this binding is the toe piece. It's made out of metal, and it gives you 180 degrees of elasticity from side-to-side, or upwards release. The other key element of the toe piece is the AFD. As you can see, it's extra wide. And what that does is it fully interfaces with the boot, and it works very, very well with wide skis, giving you a better platform to stand on. The brake of the SAS2 comes with a 120 millimeter brake, so it's extra wide. But you can undo this screw, and you can change it out to 100 millimeter, or 80 millimeter brake. Thing is the heel track. The heel track has extra metal built inside of it, derived from our World Cup skis, which gives you extra support and durability. And our heel piece is made completely out of metal. We have titanium going down the side, and then metal in the housing and above. And probably one of the things that is the most recognizable thing about Rossignol bindings, is the 25 millimeters of elasticity in the heel piece. What this does is gives you the greatest range of motion in the heel piece. So you can be completely into the binding, start to release, and then recover without coming out of the binding. The SAS2 200 is a great choice for big mountain skiers and jibbers.
