LINE Prophet 100

LINE Prophet 100: I think of the Prophet 90 and the Prophet 100 as really similar skis. The difference really is in your preference. You’ve got the 130 for the really big days. You’ve got the 100 that can do it all and the 90 that just absolutely rips. I think that a lot of people see LINE as a freestyle company but this ski it can carve on the groomer like you wouldn’t believe. You tip it over in 40 mile an hour GS turns and you’re smiling. You can lay into it and it has so much life it will just give it right back to you. I’m going to be able to ski the powder in the morning. I’m going to be able to do the groomers and rip them. It’s so snappy edge to edge. It’s stable at high speeds. It’s like a big mountain ski that will take you anywhere you want to go. I straight lined on them and yet I’ve also raced GS beer leagues on them and won. It’s insane. And that’s true. It does have Metal Matrix in it. You can actually see it in the top sheet and it keeps the ski damp. It’s pretty amazing how fast the ski will go comfortably. I just took the skis up to Crested Butte. It was my first big mountain in competition and I ended up winning the qualifier round on them, the second day of skiing on them. The ski is so easy to get used to. There are no skis that can do 100 underfoot, and give you that much stability but yet you can ski on the blue ice of New England and enjoy it. The 90 and the 100, they’re totally versatile skis in both widths. Anybody, east coast, west coast wants one ski to do it all, this is the ski. LINE’s killing it, Gear of the Year 2008, Prophet 100 hell yeah.
