Pentax Optio P70 Camera - About

Pentax Optio P70 Camera – About: Hello, my name is Chris, I'm with Pentax imaging company out of Golden, Colorado, and today I'd like to talk about our Optio P70 camera. The P70, we named it the P camera because it means panorama, or what we'd like to think of as our wide angle lens. This is a 4X zoom camera, but it starts at 28mm, so it's an extra wide angle. So, if you need to fit people into the scene, or if you're inside taking pictures of indoor areas, you can fit more into the scene than you would otherwise be able to with a traditional digital camera, that might start at 35 or 38mm. This camera features a 2.7 inch LCD screen, at 230,000 dots, and it is a 12 megapixel camera. This camera also has a new shake reduction technology, which is our term for image stabilization, that's called pixel track shake reduction. It tracks the level of blur at the pixel level, so that at the moment of exposure, it brings the blur back to that pixel at that moment of time, and then maps it out. This camera is also designed to be a very slim camera. You have the zoom button, which is right around the shutter release button, and the camera is just over half an inch at its thinnest point. This camera is also available in three very stylish colors: white, silver, and red. And we expect this to be a very hot seller. Big buttons on the back of the camera, also on one side, very cleanly laid out. This camera also features, in addition to face recognition technology, that sees up to about 32 faces in as little as 3/100 of a second, it also has a mode that's called smile capture, which, once your subject smiles, it takes the picture automatically without you even having to touch a button. It also features blink detection, as well as smile capture. So, a very nice camera.
