Peavey Viper Amplifier Line: Hi I’m Fred Poole from Peavey Electronics, and I’d like to introduce to you the award winning Viper line of modeling amplifiers from Peavey Electronics. The Peavey Viper line of amplifiers have won every award it’s been nominated for, including music and sound award product of the year, Peavey Viper MMR dealers choice award, and best instrument amplifier line of the year, also from music and sound retailer. Viper amplifier line is a revolutionary new line of modeling amplifiers from Peavey Electronics that uses some amazing new and appropriate technology for different sections of the amplifier. The preamp section that creates the distortion of the amplifier is done in analog, and that’s very important because analog distortion is what gives you the tone that’s necessary to cut through the mix live on stage. Also these amplifiers use one of the most advanced processors in any modeling amplifier in this price point. It’s a 256 MHz dual core shark processor, and what that means to the user is that this amp is capable of doing five effects at the same time, and that’s an amazing amount of processing power required to do that. The amp’s divided into three sections. The stompbox effects, the amplifier models, and the effects models, plus global reverb and delay at all times. All the effects on the amplifier are completely editable. Stompboxes, have 11 different stompboxes on the front end, 11 different effects on the back end, and we have a Sanpera foot controller which is down here on the floor. The Sanpera foot controller will allow you to control all aspects of the amplifier, turn on and off individual effects, and different presets, bank and select through 400 different presets on the amplifier, tap tempo, activate a real time looper, so that, the amp has an on board looper that’s capable of doing a 30 second loop, and real time control over volume, wah, and or pitch shift. So this is an amazing new line of amplifiers. The amplifiers start with the Viper 15, which is the 15 watt version, and go all the way up to real tube Viper 120, 60, and 120 tube head, and all of the tube amplifiers use real 6L6 12AX7 tubes to give you that full, fat sound at a price that can’t be beat, or can’t be matched by any other competitor.
