Peavey - Meet Hartley Peavey: Hi, I'm Hartley Peavey. 44 years ago I started a company to make the best amplification products available. And this little rodeo has been going on, and I've been in the saddle for 44 years. It's been a lot of fun. We've managed to collect about 180 patents in that length of time, which probably more than all of our competitors combined. We make tube amps. We make solid state amps. We make loudspeakers, microphones, guitars, digital networking, modeling amps, software. Fact is, from the time you pick a guitar string, or you sing into a microphone, every single link in the chain is made by Peavey. We do business in 136 countries, and that's been quite an education, over the last few years. And the beat goes on. We were fortunate enough this year to get the product of the year, and the amplifier of the year, and hopefully, our new products that we are bring out will be able to glean those honors next year. But the biggest part is it's fun to create, and do things, and make a better product. And it's been going on, as I said, for 44 years, and good Lord willing, it'll go on for many more years. And I just want to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their support, and to tell you that the fat lady certainly hasn't sung at Peavey. We've got lots more in store.
