Pearl – About: The Pearl is a girl’s symmetrical pipe and park ski, so it has an 85 millimeter waist with a symmetrical side-cut, and that means you can ride it equally while switch or forward. You’ll also notice on the pearl that it has our full wood-core vertical side-wall construction, just like all the best Volkl free-rides skis. It has a little bit softer flex and a little bit lighter weight, owing to a different type of wood core that we use in there.

Pearl - Graphic and Quality Ride: The Pearl graphic was designed in conjunction with Ashley Battersby who is a pro-level free rider. She really likes this design but she also rode this ski in a lot of the different competitions last season. Thanks to that full wood core/vertical sidewall construction this is not only a pipe and park ski, if you want to install the bindings at boot center on that Pearl you can ride it all around the mountain. All the Volkl skis are known for just having exceptional ride quality and that’s the difference that you feel in the Pearl. If you wanted to install the bindings at true center position on the Pearl, that’s when you’d have you’re best pipe and park performance.

Volkl Women's Line Up: This is Volkl’s Women’s Freeskiing collection, and there are four models dedicated to different types of freeskiing for women. All of our women’s freeskiing skis feature a lighter weight softer wood core. So women tend to carry less weight on their bodies, and consequently, our freeskiing skis are a lighter weight for them to be easy to handle for women of all abilities.
