SDR S15 Camera - About: Hi. I'm Matt Fraser, field training manager for Panasonic. Today we're going to be talking about the SDR S15. This is out ultra compact digital video camera. It encodes in MPEG-2, so this is not a toy camera, it records at high quality, DVD quality video. It incorporates a 10X optical zoom lens. It also incorporates an easy youtube upload function, it's a button right on the side of the camera, once you have it connected to the camera you just push this button, it immediately launches the software, it makes everything very simple for doing uploads. Aside from that, the camera also includes out full intelligent auto suite, so with this product if you forget to turn the image stabilizer on, it's smart, it'll know it's off and turn it on for you. It'll also select scene modes for you. So, when you're pointing this camera at a subject, because it incorporates face detection, it'll immediately select the portrait mode. If you're shooting landscapes, it'll select landscape mode for you. And if you're shooting close ups it'll select the macro mode so everything stays in crystal clear, sharp, focus.
