About Panasonic S-Series TV Product Line: This Greg Lee at Panasonic showing off our S-Series line of televisions for 2009. What we have are LCD and plasma models ranging from 32 inches all the way up to 65. The 65-inch plasma series sets are using what we call Neo PDP. Neo PDP means that our plasma sets are going to be significantly brighter this year but at the same time using quite a bit less power. Thus the sets are double the efficiency of previous generations. These sets also upgrade to full 1080 lines of motion resolution, meaning that when you’re watching sports or anything with motion on the screen, you retain full resolution and full detail making the picture crisp and clean. We’ve also improved contrast ratio on the sets, so black levels are deeper. In fact, we’re marketing “infinite black,” meaning that the TV with a dark screen will basically disappear in a black room. Last, the contrast ratio is significantly higher at 40,000 to 1, making it about 30% better than last year. On our LCD models here we have motion focus, which improves their motion resolution up to 600 lines. So if you’re looking for a great set, think about our S-Series line of televisions in 2009. This is Greg Lee from Panasonic.
