High Performance 300 Camcorder Series: Hi. I'm Matt Fraser, field training manager for Panasonic. Today we're going to be talking about our high performance 300 series line of high definition camcorders. These camcorders are going to incorporate not one, but three CMOS sensors. One for red, one for green, one for blue. A lot of people ask, "Why 3MOS?". It's pretty simple, you're going to get much more accurate color when you can divide the colors into their three primaries. So, better color fidelity. Also, you're going to get a quarter inch 3MOS sensor. So, they're very large. That means they gather more light which means this camcorder is going to be one of the best low light camcorders you can buy. Aside from that beautiful 3MOS sensor, you're going to have our world famous leica optics, which will allow you to have crystal clear, razor sharp video and also improves the low light capabilities of this camera even further. The product has a 10.6 megapixel still capture capability, so you're going to be able to capture high resolution stills along with incredibly high quality video. It includes our intelligent auto functions, which includes face detection. Along with face detection, we're including out intelligent scene selection. So, if I have a face in the shot it's going to automatically select the portrait for me. If I have a macro shot, where I'm too close to the subject it'll automatically select macro to guarantee that it's razor sharp. And if there's a landscape in the shot it's going to automatically select landscape. We also incorporate out intelligent auto focus tracking function, which means that as I point the camera at my subject, I can simply touch the screen and as the subject moves around it'll make sure they're in perfect focus and perfect exposure, guaranteeing you the perfect shot. Some additional functions that need to be mentioned; we have a beautiful focus ring right here, as opposed to burying it with some joystick, but this does more than just focus. I can press a button and now it's a zoom ring. I can press another button and it adjusts the iris. I can press a button and it's going to adjust shutter speed. Hit the button again and I can select white balance. This is an incredibly easy camera to operate. It includes cold shoes so that you can have the ability to add microphones and lights. It includes a microphone jack. It includes a headphone jack. So if you're looking to get high quality, professional results the 300 series is definitely the series to get.
