Panasonic 250 HD Camcorder Series: Hi. I'm Matt Fraser, field training manager for Panasonic and today what we're going to be talking about is our 250 series high definition camcorder. What makes this camera incredibly special for the marketplace is the fact that we're going to use three different CMOS sensors. One for red, one for green and one for blue. Now, a lot of people ask us "Why 3MOS?". Well, It's pretty simple. If you have a red, green and blue sensor in the camera and you're using three of them, it makes it pretty easy to make purple. If you only have one sensor, purple's a little bit more difficult to make. I guess the point I'm making here is that colors are going to be much more accurate with this system. In addition, not only is it 3MOS, each sensor is a quarter of an inch in size. So, they are very large which means that this camera is going to have exceptional low light capabilities. It's going to be one of the best low light camcorders on the market today. In addition to that exceptional low light capability we're going to go ahead and give you a 12X optical zoom with this camera and if you need to take some high quality still pictures, this is a 10.6 megapixel still camera in addition to the high quality video. The camera includes our intelligent auto functions which includes face detection, along with face detection we have intelligent scene selection, so if there's a face in the shot it's going to recognize there's a face and automatically select portrait mode. If it detects that it's going to be a landscape it'll go into landscape mode and if it detects that there's a macro shot where you need a nice close up it's going to automatically select macro so you don't get any blurry shots. We're also including out intelligent auto tracking function, which allows you to touch the screen and track your subject as they move, guaranteeing they're in perfect focus and exposure. The camera includes a 120GB hard drive and at it's highest picture quality can store 7 minutes per GB. Panasonic
