Alpina Exel Nordic Tour Ski Pole – About: This is our entry level composite pole from Exel. It’s the Nordic Tour. You can see that it has a nice, tapered shaft. It’s a little bigger at the top, a little smaller at the bottom near the basket. It gives a nice swing weight to the pole. It’s very comfortable as far as skiing with it. It has a dual density grip. It has a very nice contoured strap that is very easy and form fitting to the hand with a very simple adjustment that you open up. You can either lengthen or shorten the strap depending on how you see it best fits your hand when your glove’s in there. It also comes with a little wider, little bit more modern performance type basket, ideal for any kind of prepared tracks or wherever you’re going skiing. Just excellent value for an entry level product.
