Naturalmat Coco Mat: We have three mattresses in our range. We have the Coco Mat, the Latex Mat and the Mohair Mat. The Coco Mat is a breathable mite, the most breathable mattress. It uses the organic core, from the only, so far, plantation in the world. And it has the anti-dust protection wool pads each side of the mattress. It is the most breathable mattress and it is ideal for small babies, if you have difficulties in regulating their temperature.

About Naturalmat Products: We use coconut fiber as one of the core ingredients on our mattresses. Coconut fiber is made from the husks of the coconut; it provides a springy pad, it is very fibrous, it has a very open structure so you get lots of ventilation into the mattress. Breath ability in ventilation is one of the key component parts of our mattresses. Babies are very temperature sensitive. They don’t likes get to cold, don’t likes get to hot, and they can’t really regulate their temperature. If you put them on the synthetic, the synthetic will absorb heat, the baby will get hotter and hotter and hotter. Then they will start to perspire and will cool down very quickly because he is laying so in perspiration. What you need to try and to do is trying avoid any of these synthetic material and trying to get as much breath ability into his mattress as possible. This open structure allows lots of ventilation, and lots of breath ability into the mattress. It also provides a very springy pad so it gets lots of support over a long period of time.

About Naturalmat Product Makeup: Now, either side of the coconut fiber we use labs wool. Lambs wool is a fantastic natural insulator. It keeps you nice and cool if is very hot outside, is very cool outside, it keeps you nice and warm so it is an ideal tufting material to use in babies mattresses. We soak them, our lambs wool, in solution as dry from extracts of lavender, lemon eucalyptus. And what it does is it renders the anti-dust mite. So you’re aware the parents are very concern about the allergies and so as many things that you can do to try on parents fears about the instance of allergies it’s going to be a good benefit. On either side of the mattress, we have two cotton covers, they’re all zipped on to the mattress and also they can be removed out and can be washed at 60degrees, the dust mite at 65degrees. So, not only that you have a practical mattress but also you have got something witch is ant allergy, allergy friendly.

About Naturalmat Protection and Washability: Now, a lot of people look at the mattress and say: Oh it looks great, but what’s happen’ if my baby wets the mattress, what’s happen’ if my baby is sick? We have a range of 100% organic cotton sheets, this is part of our concept. Entangling that we have mattress protector, the mattress protector is made using two layers of organic flannelette with a breathable membrane laminated in the middle. What it does? It acts just like a Gore-Tex so it allows all the breath ability and the functionality of the mattress to perform but it will not let any moisture into the mattress. So in practical terms, parents will wash the potato and wash the sheets and don’t really need to take of the covers but obviously they can. If they wanted, they can take the whole thing to pieces, we don’t use any glues, we don’t use any pounding agents on our mattresses so the whole thing is washable.

About Naturalmat Company: Hi, good morning, I’m Tremlett, my company is called Naturalmat Company. I started the company in 2000. We are specialist mattress maker. Originally my career was in the food industry, I used to be market trader of a chocolate company. And I wanted to have my own business, I want to went back in to the marine industry witch is where my parents had a boat build business. I saw an opportunity because people are buying a very expensive boat and sleep on a poor quality mattress. I thought that if you had enough money to by an expensive boat you might want to have a good night sleep as well. So I started a company making mattresses for yachts and motorboats and then, two years later, my girlfriend became pregnant and I started looking at baby mattresses. I realized that all the mattresses available on the market were usually come from a plastic, and they usually have some synthetic feelings as materials. I did not want my baby sleeping in something that is covered in plastic or something that way synthetics. So I researched what materials might be available to make a mattress entirely out of natural fibers. Six months later we succeeded in passing all British standards with a range of three mattresses. And we were the first company to achieve British Standard Accreditation without using any chemical fiber at all or any chemical additives.
