About Moog Mini Voyager Synthesizer: My name is Jason Daniello, and I’m with Moog Music, and the first thing I’d like to show you is the Mini Moog Voyager. This is the flagship, really, of our company. Bob Moog designed this amazing instrument. This is an analog synthesizer, it’s monophonic, it’s got digital controls so that you can actually store presets, and it’s got a touch surface that is just amazing. You can control three different parameters at one time, and swirl the sound around, and sweep filters, and it’s just incredible. So these are actually part of our select series. You can choose different cabinets. You can also choose different backlighting options. We’ve got, I think, let’s see, we’ve got a solar which is the orange, we’ve got jade which is this green one here, we’ve got a fire which is red, lunar which is a white one, electric blue, and just amazing, amazing visuals, and it really allows you to see what you’re doing on stage while you’re there, because, you know, it’s like automatic backlighting. It’s great.

About Moog: Hi! My name is Jason Daniello. I work with Moog Music. We’re based in Ashville, North Carolina. We’ve been in business probably since 1954 when Bob started building Theremins and selling them as kits. Of course, he’s the father of electronic music as well. We build everything from synthesizers to Theremins to controllers, and we just put out the new Moog Guitar as well. So we’re just trying to continue that legacy of what Bob has started.

I’m the proud owner and user of a Moog Voyager Old School, also a Moog Little Phatty, and a couple of the Moogerfooger pedals. The thing that I really love, especially about the Voyager Old School is that it’s such a pure instrument, which really appeals to my idealistic side. I’m able to play it for the entire night through. I start on a patch, and just the entire night I morph. The filters, the oscillators, just sound amazing. It’s really nothing that can compare sonically. I’m just so proud to be here today affiliated with Moog Music. Thank you.

Moog – Saul Zonana Testimonial: How ‘ya doin’. Nice to see ya’. My name is Saul Zonana and I’m just, you know, here to tell you how in love with Moog Music and the Moog family that I am. My first synthesizer that my mom bought me when I was 13 years old was a moog opus 3, which I wish I still had. But I’ve been a fan of Moog products for years, and I think it’s been recently now that they’ve really come into their own, and they’re coming up with some of the most innovative products in music. Really, with the Moog Guitar, which is a total breakthrough in the concept of electric guitar, its really changed the concept really. And something that I use called the MP201, the multipedal. That’s a brand new pedal by Moog Music that is just phenomenal, very innovative, very powerful. Again, inventing things that change the way you think about what you do, and that’s what Moog has been doing for a long time. I’m a big fan of the Voyager, I have a voyager myself. I use it a lot on my CD’s. Anybody who knows my music hears a lot of Moog Voyager on the records. So Moog, in general, has just been a staple in my life for that many years, and I’m just proud to know, them proud to be using them, proud to be part of the family, and I hope they go on making great products for another million years.
