About The Fibercraft Designer Series: Hello! This is Mario. Welcome to Meinl Percussion. First of all, I want to introduce you to our new Fibercraft Designer Series congas, bongos, and kahon. They are made out of regular fiberglass, but they come with a crisp carbon finish. You also see here featuring our new wooden plates for congas. Maybe Adam can do some demonstration here. The cool thing about the sound waves are the sound boards, so this enables the conga to breathe. They let the air go out, which gives the instrument more volume when it’s on the floor. Can you also play the kahon for a second? This is our new snare kahon, featuring also a front made out of fiberglass in the carbon finish.
