Mapex Saturn Series: Hi, Jeff Ivester here with Mapex Drums. I'm going to talk to you to day about the Saturn series. The Saturn series is a very popular model with touring professionals as well as aspiring amateurs. It's one of our best pro kits. The shell is made of maple and walnut. It gives an incredible bottom end sound and an incredible tuning versatility. We're showing it right here in a new cherry sparkle finish. This is actually a lacquer, it is not a wrap believe it or not. The Saturn features the Isolated Tom Mount System which keeps the mounting system off the shell to make sure that the tone and the shells resonate complete and freely.

Mapex and Will Calhoun: Good afternoon, my name is Will Calhoun, Mapex endorsee. Played with Living Color, Mos Def, Wayne Shorter, quite a few different artists. One of my reasons for really enjoying the drum set and the company is my varied styles of music and me being able to use basically one drum set to cover different parts of my musical endeavors in life. Recording studio, rock and roll, heavy metal, funk, straight ahead jazz, hip hop, R & B, drum and bass, whatever. The drum set fits. At the moment I'm standing behind on of the newer series, Meridian Birch, and you can go on line at the Mapex website to get all the specs on the drum kit. I basically use a Saturn series for my touring and recording, and it works for all purposes. It's a great company. It's very diverse set of snare drums. I recommend you check out the brass, the wood, Maple, Birch, the different sized meter hoops, the weight. It's fantastic. So for me, it helps me to express myself, being a true artist in this industry now that's becoming really diverse. It's a pleasure to be a part of Mapex. Thank you very much for your time.
