About Madshus Nano Carbon Race 100 UHM Pole: At Madshus we have been doing Poles for the last couple of years and it had a very very successful introduction and development process for UHM poles. This is our brand new pole fro next season 2009 this is called the Nano Carbon Race UHM, ultra high modulus and it is 100% carbon. Extremely light weight and extremely stiff, this pole ahs increased its stiffness by 30% over last year and yet maintained the same 60 grams per meter weight, a rather remarkable achievement. More importantly the swing weight of the pole, how the skier feels the pole swinging has been improved by removing a lot of the weight from down in the basket area and moving it up into the handle area. All of our poles in this section have the new grip and the new strap, roll cup strap roll cup grip, full court handle goes all the way to the top and keeps the handle warm. Also has a necked area here for comfort and a full wrap around wrist, so the wrist strap is fully adjustable, fully suitable by holding it and full cork handle, so this is the 100 UHM.
