Pivot Cycles Mach 429 Mountain Bike: Hi, I'm Adam with Pivot Cycles, and this is the Pivot Mach 429. We've taken the award-winning performance of our Mach 4, with four inches of travel, and evolved it into a 29 inch wheel bicycle. And one of the benefits of a 29 inch wheel bicycle, is it rolls over obstacles better, because that larger wheel has a better angle of incidence over obstacles. You also get better traction. But one of the complaints of, traditionally, 29ers is that they don't accelerate very well, and they're flexy. With the dw-link suspension in our bike it resists the rider movement on the pedal. So you don't squat that suspension when you're pedaling. So all of your energy is going to pushing the bike forward. The other thing we've done with this bike is really place a premium on frame stiffness. So that with the larger frame, the larger wheels, there's a lot of room for the frame to move around. This bike accelerates extremely well. And with the larger wheels, it also corners exceptionally well. So twisty courses, things with rollers and risers, you're able to keep a lot of speed, keep a lot of momentum. This is just an exceptionally fast, fun bike. Pivot Mach 429.
