M-Audio ProFire 2626 Firewire Audio Interface" hey this is oscar with M-audio and we will be talking today about the profire 2626. so the profire 2626 represents really a first for M-audio in that it is our first firewire device that can do 26 inputs and 26 outputs going down. so basically we have the 60 on the backside here, 8 mike freeze, 8 analogs in. but we actually have duo optical aid output on the backside so you can go through and actually add in 2 more sets of A channel freeze by a via a line pipe on the backside and through the use of a break out cable, we have a speeded input, mini and warclock serial connection here on the backside. so once again you have 8 analog, you have 16 more digital though data and then we can add 2 more of ISP def to get 26 in and 26 out head count. amazing sound quality on the 2626 using jet pll jitter elimination technology. we also have a DSP chip on board that is going to handle the routing. and the beauty of our DSP chip on our control panel is that you can essentially rap any output any output to be considered to what your setting is within your studio. really powerful combination also compatible with protools empowered. compatible with any piece of software on the market today.
