Ludwig and Rock Band: Once again this year we're one of the marquis brands in the Rockband game and we're overjoyed that the people from Harmonix and Rockband MTV Games are here on stand right now. Testing out and showing people what Rockband is all about. Whenever you plan a kit in Rockband, nine times out of ten it's going to be a Ludwig kit and we're super-stoked about it. We love the fact that we're heavily featured in the game and we think Rockband is an amazing way to show younger players how to play the drums. It starts off in the video game and turns these guys into rock stars. You can see right there in the background, the lovely logos flying proud. You can change between classic Ludwig setups, current Ludwig setups, finishes. You can even choose some of our wearables. Some of our actual wearables are in the game and when you get to the more advanced levels, you can unlock your own wearables that say Ludwig on them. You can actually buy them on our website which is great. So yeah, we love the fact that we're in Rockband, we're heavily involved with them and it's going to continue in the next couple of years.

About Ludwig: Good day, my name is Kevin Packard and I'm the Director of Marketing for the Percussion Division of Ludwig Drum Company and we're really excited this year, it's our 100th Anniversary. A brief overview of the company: The company was started in 1909 by William F. Ludwig, Senior, who was a German immigrant and came to the U.S. as a drummer in the vaudeville and circus industry, and eventually invented the first bass drum pedal. His needs as a drummer turned grew an industry--making snare drums for fellow players, and going on through the last hundred years, making fine quality drum sets through the generations of the Ludwig family: William F. Ludwig the Second who passed away last year was the company's Chief. Multiple innovations have surfaced over our 100 year anniversary year as well as our history, so we're overjoyed to be the most famous name on drums for the last hundred years and our 100th anniversary year is seeing the biggest sweeping change in product that has ever been seen and I'm overjoyed to show it to you today.
