Lange Super Banshee Ski Boot

Lange Super Banshee Ski Boot: My name is Ryan. I'm a Product Manager for Lange Ski Boots. Here we have the new Super Banshee. This is a very powerful, high-performance, all-mountain boot, for advanced to expert-level skiers. This boot uses our powerful RL11 shell. It's the same shell that we use on the World Cup, for Super G and Downhill athletes. The reason we use this shell, for an all-mountain boot, is it has a long flex pattern. Meaning this boot is able to flex a lot this way. That allows the skier to control the amount of energy that is put into the ski. That's pretty important when you're dealing with a variety of snow conditions and different terrain. You want to be able to control how much energy is coming into the tip area of the ski. We'll do a few to this boot tweaks to make it appropriate for all-mountain skiing. Things like a Vibram sole, will give you extra grip as you're hiking on rocks. We'll do elastic power strap. Inside the liner, there's a gel tongue. This sits right on the shin, helps to absorb shock. It also will help to eliminate any friction on the shin. The toe box of the liner is also shock absorbing. So if you have a backwards movement, and you slide the toes forward, they won't move through this into the shell. So no more jamming your toes into the shell. We also have a shock-absorbing boot board in between the liner and the shell, to absorb additional shock. This is the Super Banshee high-performance all-mountain boot. I'm Ryan, Product Manager for Lange.

Lange Ski Boots

Lange Ski Boots: My name is Ryan Green. I'm a Product Manager for Lange Ski Boots. We make boots for a variety of different skiers. Mainly for the high-performance-oriented skiers, and will modify the boots to cater towards the type of skiing. So we'll have boots similar to the Banshee collection and the Blaster, which are appropriate for all-mountain skiing, and they've been tweaked to have Vibram soles, elastic power straps, shock absorbing features, and so on. And then we also have boots specific to on-trail-oriented skiing, with boots like the Comp and Fluid, where those have solid soles, little bit different flex patterns, designed to put a lot of energy into the ski very quickly. My name is Ryan Green with Lange Ski Boots.
