Lange Comp. Ski Boot

Lange Comp. Ski Boot: My name is Ryan. I'm with Lange Ski Boots. This is the Comp. It's a brand new boot for us. It uses the same shell as the Super Comp and the Comp Pro, but in the Comp it's a little bit softer-flexing. This has a flex of 110, has a 97 millimeter forefoot width. This will be a great boot for an advanced-level skier, mainly skiing on-trail situations. It has a solid hard sole, which will transmit the maximum amount of energy from the boot into the ski. We use a very thin liner, which will also transmit a lot of energy into the shell. Neoprene toe box. Keeps the toe box a little bit warmer. Also allows the toes to sway out. The shape of this shell is unique. We have a near-vertical wall on the medial side, which gives more room for ankle articulation, but also will put the foot closer to the inside edge, which makes the boot faster in a lateral movement. The hinge points have been moved back from a classic wing. That will generate a lot of power if you're flexing into the first part of the boot. This is the Comp. It's a great boot for an advanced-level skier, looking for an on-trail-style boot. My name is Ryan. I'm a Product Manager for Lange Ski Boots.
