Lange Banshee W-Pro Ski Boot: My name is Ryan, Product Manager for Lange Ski Boots. This is the Banshee W-Pro high-performance boot for women, designed, more so, for all-mountain skiing. We have a lot of features in this boot. First, it's built with the RL11 shell. It's a very powerful shell that we use on the World Cup, for Downhill and Super G athletes. Has a long flex pattern to it. Gives the skier a lot of control over the amount of energy that's put into the ski. On this boot we use Vibram soles. Give you a little bit extra grip as you're walking around, whether it's the parking lot, or hiking for some fresh powder. We've put a lower cuff on this boot. It's a centimeter-and-a-half lower than what we use in the men's boot. That will allow this to fit the shape of a woman's lower leg a little bit easier. Features also include a gel tongue. This will give some additional shock absorption, but more importantly, it helps to eliminate friction on the shin. So as you're flexing into the boot, this gives a nice purchase on the shin. Neoprene toe box makes the front of the boot very comfortable, and a shock-absorbing boot board on the inside will absorb shock as you're skiing in different snow conditions.
