So no coatings involved here. This is an 18/8 stainless, which is in the 300 series, which is a food grade material. It's polished the limestone, so a totally inert, natural material, and has a very clean interior, easy to keep clean, and no corrosion. Has a self-threaded top, which closes down with an anvil lid. And is obviously totally BPA-free, since it has no coating. Great durability, so as far as the embodied energy and material, it'll have a good long life.
