About Laken USA ISO 70 Water Bottle: Greg Garrigues with Laken USA, and I'd like to show you the ISO 70. The ISO 70 is the next generation in mountaineer's bottles. The ISO 70 has an aluminum shell, with a differential aluminum interior. The bottle is insulated through a polyurethane insulating material between, and will keep beverages from freezing for up to seven hours. This replaces what people used to use in the mountaineering scene, which was a polycarbonate bottle stuffed into a foam sleeve or a bottle parka. This has a smaller profile and better thermal insulation than its predecessors, and shaved some weight off, as well. So the ISO 70, easy to drink from, easy to fill, and easy to get in and out of your backpack.

Laken USA Company Overview: I'm Greg Garrigues with Laken USA. Laken USA is the direct importer of Laken water bottles, manufactured in Spain. It's the world's finest water bottle for a couple reasons. It's also a hundred year old company that has been doing this for a while, and really knows what's going on. The unique features of a water bottle, being a metal water bottle, it allows us to have something that's more durable than the throw-away plastics that have been out there. What it'll also allows us to use coatings that are more health conscious and stable. It's the only BPA-free aluminum bottle on the market. It has a special set of threads in the top. The threads are external, rather than internal, so they're not subject to abrasion and breakdown when you put drink mixes into it, and it closes above that, so you never have metal to beverage contact. It's using a polyaramid coating on the interior, which is accessed through this wide mouth. The polyaramid, again, has no BPA. The bottle wall thickness is 20 percent thicker than the competitors, and as such it has a longer life. At end of life, though, importantly all of the bottles have complete recyclability, as they are aluminum, the most recyclable of the metals in the world.
