La Sportiva 3D Flex System: Hi there, I'm Jonathan with La Sportiva, and I'm going to tell you a little bit today about the 3D Flex System that we've incorporated in a number of our mountaineering and hiking boots. The 3D Flex System is a simple technology in the ankle area of our boots, where we have the back strap of the boot connected to an upper cuff support. And then we've eliminated materials in the ankle area. And what this does is, this provides longitudinal lockout in the boot, for front pointing for walking uphill. And it provides lateral flexibility in the boot, so that when you're hiking on terrain, you have a flexible ankle, which makes the boot a lot more comfortable in the upper, and allows you to have better mobility on the trail, on the street, or when you're ice climbing. As you can see here, on one of our ice climbing boots, we have the 3D Flex ankle here, with this area cut out. And then when you're front pointing, gives you a lot of support in the longitudinal axis of the boot. And then we also have that same technology on a number of our hiking boots. And makes it a much more comfortable product, that gives you a lot more support, and a lot more agility out on the trails. Once again, I'm Jonathan with La Sportiva.
