LINE Prophet 90
LINE Prophet 90: I think of the Prophet 90 and the Prophet 100 as really similar skis. The difference really is in your preference. You got the 130 for the really big days. You got the 100 that can do it all. And the 90 that just absolutely rips. I think that a lot of people see Line as a freestyle company, but this ski—it just carves on groom like you just wouldn’t believe. You’re doing 40mph S turns and you’re smiling. You can lay into it and give it so much slack and it’ll just give it right back to you. I’m going to be able to ski the powder in the morning. I’m going to be able to do the groomers and rip them. It’s so snappy edge to edge. It’s stable at high speeds. It’s like a big mountain ski that will take you anywhere you want to go. I’ve straight lined on them and yet I’ve also raced G.S. Beer Leagues on them and won. It’s insane and that’s true. It does have metal matrix in it. You can actually see it in the top sheet and it keeps the ski down. It’s pretty amazing how fast this ski will go comfortably. I just took the skis out to Crescent View. It was my first day mountain competition and I ended up winning the qualification round on them. It was like secondary skin. This ski is so easy to get used to. There are no skis that can do 100 underfoot and give you that much stability, but yet you can ski on the blue ice of New England and enjoy it. The 90 and the 100 are totally versatile skis in both widths. Anybody East Coast/West Coast wants one ski to do it all. This is the ski. Line’s killing it—ski of the year2008! Prophet 100—Hell yeah!
About LINE Skis
About LINE Skis: LINE really embodies just that need to progress. Throughout the years people keep catching up to us and we keep progressing out and we’re always criticized because our stuff is always super far out. Years later it seems we’re always vindicated though because people obviously go towards that trend.
