About Deuter Kid Comfort I

About Deuter Kid Comfort I: This is our Deuter Kid Comfort I. This is our lightest weight child carrier weighing in at 4 lbs. 10 oz. On the back system here, we're using our ventilated air comfort back system, so you're going to get a lot of ventilation out of this. You can see my hand through there. We've padded out the sides, where the frame is, plus we have a nice, fixed, padded waist belt on here. Adjustable harness system on this, as with all of our child carriers. Real simple and easy to use, just undo the Velcro and slide it into four of these rungs. We also have our safety patch up here, which will explain all the different safety features of the child carrier. For the pack body itself, on the inside we have our standard child harness in here with, again, a Velcro adjustment system. Here, undo this, slide this up and down. We have a five-point safety harness in here, a central buckle with two buckles feeding into it and a sternum strap. All the safety buckles on the child carriers, are going to be in bright yellow, which makes it really easy for you to find them and adjust them. On the back system, on the back of the pack, we have a nice large storage compartment. Then our kickstand, as always, will tuck in, to make it a smaller profile.

Deuter Kid Comfort I is Safety Tested

Deuter Kid Comfort I is Safety Tested: So this Child Care also features our TUV GS safety standards, which we had worked with the TUV safety industry in Europe to develop the safety standards back in 1996. Safety Standards will not only test the fit of the child and the safety of the child in here, but also the fit for the adult and all the materials that are tested in here, making sure we don’t have any harmful materials, lead, or formaldehyde or anything like that in the materials. Those safety tests we have to go through every two years, plus our factory will be visited to make sure that all of our manufacturing is up to specs as well.
