Kata DR 467: I want to show you the Kata DR 467 or digital rucksack 467. I almost consider this the I-pod of camera bag because it’s so simple and elegant in what it provides the customer. It is the perfect camera bag if you are going to be in day-to-day user travelling with a digital SLR, some accessories and you need the ability to carry a large 17” laptop. As with anything we always try to get all the Kata protection into this and it has the DPS or digital photo series style. Camera equipment fits down in a lower compartment, the bag will stand out and you can just pull out the camera section; always the Kata yellow so you can easily find your gear your lenses your lens cap; you can customize this as you need but it will fit a digital SLR up to around a 100mm lens, some accessories, a flash. By the way if you ever want to use this as a regular backpack, this whole Velcro section comes off and makes you real a nice stay backpack. The upper section provides additional storage – memory cards, battery. We have some zipper pockets there, many people carry maybe up to a 200-250mm lens, keep it in their lens sleeve if carried up there also. So you have got a good deal of camera equipment in this bag or other things you would take on a day trip. In the back we have a very generous laptop slot. We are always keeping the laptops up against the back; it makes it a little more comfortable to carry. Very nice padded back but again a nice 17” laptop and if you are travelling it also has the ability to go on as a luggage cart. So it’s a very simple yet elegant-looking bag and it really goes again with the trend of not looking like a camera bag. So you can have a 1200$ laptop, 2000$ of equipment and it really looks like maybe you are just carrying your lunch or your kid going to school. All this in a very elegant package, nylon, the nice brush-aluminum rings, so it’s a nice looking bag also and it is available in some other colors besides just the black, most of you will just want the black out there so again the Kata DR 467 or digital rucksack 467.
