Kata Company Overview: Hello my name is Doug Feldner, I’m product manager for camera bags at Bogan Imaging US a the camera bags that we carry and are sole distributor for is a company from Jerusalem Israel called Kata. Kata was born of the Israeli military the two founders were in Special Forces and they started making protective carrying equipment. So they evolved into pro video we’ve been selling pro video carrying equipment for 16 years um again if you can carry stuff in battle comfortably and light you can certainly do it with video equipment we’ve been very successful there. Were about 6 years doing professional camera carrying equipment um and lately we’ve been making more of a push into more of a consumer type of carrying bag for photo photography and video equipment aaa their theory is very simple on design were going to create a bag that is a perfect combination of light weight yet protective always a focus on ergonomics because were all on the move today and always trying to bring as much innovative design and new materials in from the military background as possible to make the best possible camera bag to protect your video and photography camera equipment and other gear.
