About Deuter Kangakid: This is the Deuter Kangakid. This is the industry leader in a travel child carrier. You'll see on our back system, we're using a nice, padded back system with a great padded waist belt. Wrap right around the waist, really support the child that's in there. On the inside, we have two crossed, aluminum stays, which would put the weight right down in the waist, so you're carrying the weight of the child right on your waist, which is where you want to have the load. Plus you have a sternum strap to help adjust the load on your shoulders and then a nice, stabilizer strap up top. The front here, we have an 1850 cu in. day pack, the shove-it pocket on the front, a place to throw any extra stuff. Inside here, you have a nice pocket. Right here, you have what I call mom and dad's organizer pocket. Great place to store different stuff - cell phones, put your keys in there, all kinds of different stuff.

Deuter Kangakid Child Carrier Features: On the inside here, a great large pocket here. Inside, we have a little removable changing pad. Then you have this extra zipper right here, which runs right around the pack. This opens up to reveal the Child Care on the inside. The zippers will fold back on the front and back to reveal fleece. So you’re not going to have any zippers touching your child. You have a side release buckle on here. It Velcros open. It makes it real easy to get the child in and out. Using a five-point safety harness, the same harness we use on our full frame Child Cares. It’s simple and easy to use. It opens up. The child goes in there, a sternum strap to keep the shoulder straps in place. A great little travel pack, it’s carry-on size for most all airlines. It’s just a great pack to travel with.
