Ski Pro K2 World Wide Weapon Snowboard - About

Ski Pro K2 World Wide Weapon Snowboard - About: What's up guys? This is Nick coming to you from Ski Pro. Tonight I want to talk to you about the K2 World Wide Weapon rocker. This board straight out of the bag has reverse camber. K2 does three rockers. This is the JIB Rocker, so it's a little more low profile. The idea with this board is straight-up twin tip centered stance. Really soft, really flexible. It has a 2000 grade extruded base, so it takes a beating pretty well and it's easy to repair. Also, one unique feature to these is that it has a full P-Tex top sheet so, as opposed to some of the other materials that you see, this stuff will never chip, or if you do gouge it you can just cut a piece out of it. You could actually extrude the top sheet of this if you really wanted to. Great park board. Not necessarily the best thing for the entire mountain. It has a bigger effective edge with a blunt nose and tail. So with this board you want to downsize three to five centimeters from what you would normally ride. It is a bit of a different style of riding. This board comes in two varieties. You have the rocker in my left hand and you have the regular version in my right hand. The big difference with the rocker is that it does have reverse camber. So a little bit more buttery feel, easy to lay it into a turn, but definitely different than your standard board that you see right here. It comes in good sizes--either/or. A little bit of an offset in those sizes, so you can get pretty much whatever is right for you. As I said before, with the rocker version you definitely want to downsize a few centimeters. Same thing with the normal version. Because it has that blunt tip and tail with the long effective edge, you really do want to downsize three, four, five centimeters. They definitely ride bigger than they feel. And again, you've got different styles, different sizes. Both super fun boards. They'll take you all over the park. If you're into hiking that stuff this is a perfect board for you. Also, this board matches up exceedingly well with the K2 Auto bindings. If you want to get a little more response out of the binding--because you're going to get a little less out of the boards because they are soft, and because of their profile--it's a great way to set up a killer park board for you.
