K2 Extreme Ski: We’re bringing back a little retro, old school style with the Extreme. Got the old chain logo, the hot dog skiers ripping down here, and this is a narrower ski at 85, but it’s still pretty versatile over the mountain. A lot of our guys use this as their competition park and pipe ski, but it’s still pretty adept at skiing everything. You have the crazy floral base, and new this year, we have chemically bonded, horizontal die cut side walls with a urethane strip in here. So, what you’re getting with that: impact, landing on rails and jumps, little bit of shock absorption, but the ABS layers still help out with the power transfer to the edge. You can get this ski with the Schizofrantic system as well. Adjustability – you can knock it all the way forward for jumping or riding pipe, or knock it back a little bit if you want to go shred the mountain. You can also get it flat for whatever binding you want to throw on.
