The drivers all feature neodimium magnets and aluminum cast frames, making them the lightest, most powerful drivers available. Each driver is up to 250 watts for a 10 inch driver so a 4x10 has 1,000 watts power handling capability. 8x10 has 2,000 watts power handling capability and the sound is amazing. Hartke is a bass amplification company Samson acquired in the early ‘90’s. Hartke made its reputation on the aluminum cone speaker as well as many other great innovations in bass amplification. And for a long time, Hartke products were well known for clear, cutting bass sound that was smooth and versatile for any player’s needs. Today the Hartke line includes aluminum, paper, and hybrid cone speakers called the Hydrive.
