Hamer Custom Talladega Pro Guitar: Hi this is Frank Rindone, Hamer product manager. I would like to show you a couple of guitars right out of the hamer custom shop. The first one we have up top is the Talledaga Pro. Now this just shows you what can be done with a basic model from Hamer. First of all we start of with a four a ultimate quilt top. There's a top of the line quilt and we added a custom tiger's eye finish.gorgeous finish on this. Same appointments on a regular Talledaga with an ivoriod bound body, neck and headstock as well as a multiply we also put a four ply multiply binding inside the ivoriod binding and as you can see it's all the way around completely around the guitar. To add to that we added Brazillian rose wood finger board ok normall our fingerboards our rose wood but you can add either Brazillian or an ebony fingerboard this is a beautifull example of brazillian rose wood and to make it a little special what we did is we but abalone victory inlays in there instead of mother of pearl again it's an option that you can get through the Hamer custom shop. Up here at the end, the headstock on the peg head face what we did is we matched the exact piece of wood that is used on the top is actually a same piece of wood out of that piece used up on the peg head face.That's overlayed with an abalone Hamer logo as well. What we did here is we did a matched pair. This is a Talledaga Pro and down here is a Talledaga again the same family a little difference being single coil pickups as opposed to humbuckers but we did the exact same appointments a four a quilted maple top with a tigers eye, gorgous tigers eye finish, same ivoriod binding with the mutilply on the inside all the way around the guitar the same as the other. This is what can be done examples of what can be done at the Hamer custom shop. We start with a basic model and then we work closely with the customer to create something that is not only beautiful but a collectors piece forever
