About Hape Educo Countdown Bead And Wire Maze: My name is Robin Leonard and I’m with Hape International and I’d like to show you the Educo Countdown Bead And Wire Maze. This maze has been on the market now for a couple years and it’s a popular item for children ages two years and up. The unique item in regards to this particular bead and wire maze is that it has more of a tactile feel to it. There are rubber elements to this which allow for a different experience for the child to play. This is a three wire maze activity and you have a combination of rubber and water stained beads that travel along the wires. There’s also an idea or a concept of an actual spaceship that moves around here. The idea with any bead and wire maze is to give the child an opportunity to move around and enhance fine motor skills.
